Apps Apps and More Apps!

 

So, my  friend Ashleys Smartphone decided to go Dumb and poor thing has to go without it now. She has inspired this blog. :-)

Ive got an App for that! 

 When you watched the video "Thy phone prayer" Did you like any of those Apps? I did! The only ones that were dumb to me is the cheese grater and nose trimmer. Gross! I would love to have an app for my phone to be a tv remote or a garage door opener lol maybe not... hmm?.  A lot of us use the "You Version" Bible app because its more handy and then we dont have to carry a bible around. This world is becoming more accessible to everyone through technology these days. The youngest kid I have seen with a smart phone is 7 years old! Thats a little young to me! Especially if its a smartphone. But I guess its becoming a thing of the future as none of us seem to be without a phone. I know it would be hard for me for sure! The past couple of days I have been trying not to be obsessed with my phone or wanting to go online but have failed as I was afraid I would miss calls,texts and emails. I really love technology but I also hate it sometimes as I lose focus on other things. For example, reading my bible,praying, and having real conversations in person with people. It was funny a couple of days ago a couple of my friends and I were sitting on a couch on a phone/computer and we called it spending time together lol. 

Well we are all educated on phone apps but lets talk about an app we can use in our walk with God. The Bible! Its accessible too yet we can all agree we could read it more and use it more. The Bible has apps too for different topics. I will give a few examples!

A few years ago I got a little notepad to write memory verses in it so I could remember verses and today  I am trying to use those verses as apps to help others and also help myself develop a deeper relationship with God. I encourage you also to get a notepad and to write verses so that you are not only using your phone apps but also using your bible as an app too!
