I have been extremely busy with work and preparing for my move and prepping for college round 2.I have a lot of overtime some pay periods which definitely helps.
So far I have bought dishes,furniture,tv,dvd player,dining room table with chairs and wall decor all for about 162 all together! I'm buying little by little when I can afford it:-)
I will be doing some DIY projects around my apartment just with pieces of wood etc... to make the apartment look more updated.
So, I called my landlord yesterday and she said she has had some family emergencies in the last month and has forgotten that my move out day is May 1st . I asked her if it would be ready and she told me she was not sure and that I may not be able to move in May 1st. She also told me they will be cleaning it this weekend. I understand but this does frustrate me some because I paid my deposit at the end of March so they have had plenty of time to clean it... I understand about the family emergencies but to tell me I may not to move in May 1st is absurd! Hopefully, she will be able to let me especially because I asked off for May 1st to move...
The Apartment is a Large 1 bedroom apartment with white carpet with brown mixed in and hardwood floor and the kitchen has light blue/gray counters its very pretty! the bathroom is off to the right side of the kitchen. The walls are a tan brown I think throughout lol I also have at the entrance a dining area at the end of the hall their is a beautiful white china cabinet!I have a decent size living room and bedroom and I have 2 patios the one in the front is covered but the one in the back is screened off I am going to use the screened off one in the back for storage and I may eventually put a patio table out there. Oh and the apartment is on the bottom! A huge bonus for me because I hate having to move stuff up and down stairs. Its a house that has 3 separate apartments. I have 2 apartments above me one is an efficiency and one is a 1 bedroom apartment. My Favorite part about my apartment is: The Kitchen! because of the hard wood floor and the space. Least Favorite: My Bathroom it is very small and the shower is a standard not to mention I dont like that its in the kitchen lol. Their is no bathtub but that doesn't really bug me because I don't take baths anyhow. The Location is down the street from where I live now in Moberly,MO which is a great location and can easily walk to work.
My other big news is that I am going back to college this Fall for my Office and Administration Business Certificate! I will be attending MACC. I have dreams to run my own Anti-Fraud business but that is still up in the air at this point. My COMPASS test is on June 2nd. I have to make it up to MACC sometime in the next few weeks to discuss my credit transfers the business certificate etc... I was going to today but I went to garage sales instead. The only thing I am going to buy now is food to last me till pay day and some dirt cheap cleaning stuff from the dollar store and a cheap frying pan to make stuff in. After I pay rent that is what I will be able to afford until payday.
True story I went and bought a Microwave today and the guy had showed me that it worked but I didn't see the inside and go in behold it was filth! Tomorrow I am getting my 10 dollars back and giving the microwave back.The lady I talked to about it said it was almost brand new. Apparently, she thought her boyfriend was giving me a different one.This microwave was so disgusting that even bleach and vinegar wouldn't clean it!and when I get paid in May I will just have to buy my own Microwave from the store! I am going to have nightmares about this Microwave... Okay , that is an over exaggeration but still! Yuck!!!
